EARLY BIRD WEEKEND TICKETS ON SALE FOR 2012 ULLAPOOL BOOK FESTIVAL

Sunshine matters, and it shone brilliantly out of a clear autumn sky at Lennoxlove House, Haddington during the weekend of 4 – 6 November, bathing the book festival in glorious light, backlighting the brown and yellow leaves and warming the hearts of all who came.

Immediate highlights were Rory McGrath, possibly the first Tourette's interview ever heard at a book festival, the Borders Sky at Night when we couldn't tell the difference between it and the ground (we did it indoors – with a glitterball – don't ask), and endless gales of laughter from the Festival Marquee.
